Cuba is a handsome 5 year old ChowChow/Labrador mix who is looking for the perfect forever family to call his own. Cuba is a very sweet and loyal companion. Cuba was adopted from us years ago and was returned to us months ago in pretty rough shape. After seeing our vets we discovered Cuba had IMTP (immune disorder). After much love, observation, medication and many rechecks the issue has been resolved and Cuba is ready to shut the door on that chapter of his life and start his happily ever after. He is a well mannered boy who is house broken and also knows how to use a dog door. Cuba likes to run around the backyard and play ball for a very short time, so he is looking for a home with a yard to enjoy. Cuba is great with dog savvy kids and has lived with kids as young as 4 years old. Cuba does bark a little when somebody is at the door, so he will make a wonderful assistant doorbell. He usually sleeps on the floor, but will happily crawl up on the bed if it is low enough and hog the bed. Cuba would be very happy to have another canine companion of any size in his home, but needs a feline free home as he is not a big fan of cats. Cuba knows how to sit, shake, lay down, stay and come. He weighs just under 60 pounds full grown. He is neutered, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 which includes a free vet visit and 30 of complementary pet insurance.
