Madeline is a 2yr old Cairn Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She is low shed and weighs in at 16lbs. She was saved from the County shelter after she found as a stray. Her owners never came forward. When we first met Madeline, she was not happy. She was very confused, sad, and didn't know what to think about where she was. She went to a foster home and we learned she just needs a little patience. Once she knows she can trust you, she is the biggest cuddle bug that loves to give kisses. She is very loyal, wants to be by your side, but can also be independent and go do her "dog thing". She is house broken, knows how to use a dog door, likes toys, and loves to go for walks or rides in the car. She is good with other dogs, but likes to hog her person all to herself. She would do best with 1 other dog that would let her be a little bossy at times. We suggest older kids over the age of 12 that can understand she just needs a little patience at first. Madeline would do best in a quiet home with little visitors... all she wants is love and attention :) She seems to prefer women. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, chipped, licensed, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $220. To meet her, come to our shelter location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open everyday from 11am to 6pm. On weekends, please call for location as we have offsite adoption events that are animals attend 602-944-2440
