Martha is a 3yr old Basset Hound/Shepherd mix looking for her forever home. She weighs in at 39lbs and is full grown. Martha came to us with her 3 pups, after the owner was not caring for them properly. Martha did amazing raising her 3 pups, and is now in search of her forever home! She has been in a foster home.. this is what the foster has to say about beautiful Martha: " Martha is a total doll! She loves car rides and wants nothing more than to be with her people. She's done a beautiful job raising her puppies, and now it's her turn to find an extra special home. She's doggy door trained and loves to carry toys around in her mouth (it's adorable)! Upon meeting people or other dogs for the first time, she may bark. As soon as she learns everyone is friendly, she becomes a best friend and a great playmate. She seems very smart and picked up on sit and down after only a couple training sessions with treats. She's a beautiful girl with a very looooooong body (bassett mix with long legs). She would make a wonderful family dog!" Martha is house broken, LOVES kids, and would do great in an active home. She would prefer to go to a home with kids, is what she told us :P Martha needs a home with owners that are home a lot, as she does have separation anxiety and will bark when her owners are not home (no apartments) and a home with no cats, she will chase and bark at the cat and will drive the cat bananas. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $180.
