Hello, my name is Waffles and I am 12 years young! I weigh 23lbs. and I am fully grown. I love to go on walks! On sidewalks, in the grass, through walking trails... Okay, really anywhere as long as I am with my hoomans! I am potty trained. My foster mommy says that I am the best she has ever seen! I LOVE cats so much that I think I might be part cat. I like to cuddly and sleep with them. I don’t even mind when they sleep on top of me. When my foster brother kitten plays with me, I even play back. It’s so much fun! I am an easy-going gal, who will tolerate larger dogs, but they do intimidate me a bit. By “larger” though, I mean my foster mom has a giant, horse-sized dog (Great Dane) that wants to be friends and I am a little shy. I do enjoy the company of other dogs, and I like the chihuahua friend in my foster home. Yet still I prefer the cats! As for kids... I have lived with a 6-year-old previously, and I have been around 2 teenagers for the past few months. I love them too! I really don’t have a mean bone in my body. When I’m scared, I hide instead of pursuing, so I don’t think young children would bother me. However, I would prefer a more mature, laid back type of home. I am hoping to find a family that lets me sleep in bed with them at night, because SNUGGLES ARE LIFE! I am currently on medication (Pimobendan) for an enlarged heart... but my foster mom has the same heart condition, and she says it is really no issue. It certainly doesn’t slow me down any. I love the medication and gobble it up no problem! I do beg for people food. My foster mom has tried to curb this, but I just want it so bad, no matter how much she says no. It’s just so yummy! I am even named after yummy food, I mean c’mon! I am slightly hearing impaired. Which is nice if you don’t want me barking at the doorbell, but not so much if you tell me no. You have to speak loudly, or clap to really get my attention. Did I mention that I am 12 years old? I don’t think that I really act my age other than this. I like to be active, I jump up, I beg for walks, and I walk at a great pace. I appreciate everything my foster family has done for me, but I am ready to find my forever adventure buddy!
