Chapa Update on Chapa aka Lily. She is perfect and very attached to mom. She now shares an IG page with former Azsmalldog Blackie aka Ember. All is well.
Chato Chato adoption update! Chato is doing great and has adjusted quickly and well. He comes to both of us without hesitation and is playing with his 4 legged brothers like they've been together forever! He loves to sit out on the balcony and chill with his Chihuahua brother and doesn't even bark at passerbys unless brother Pete does. They stop as soon as they're told to, it's great. He's a sweet boy and we're glad to have him in our family! â¤ï¸ Thank you everyone for your help during the process and for the follow up! You all are great! ð
Churro
Hi Destiny! Thank you so much for reaching out to me! We are LOVING Churro (his new name is Trunks). He's doing so well, we are so surprised with how quickly he seems to have acclimated to our home. He loves jumping/licking faces and stealing his big brother Zuko's toys! We are scheduled to get his last 4 in 1 shot on Thursday at Kierland Animal Hospital where he was seen for his other vaccines. Thank you all so much for helping us rescue our furry little best friend, we’re so happy!
Claire Bear Hello Destiny, Things are going very well with Claire Bear and Medina. They love the back yard, and they have been wonderfully social, and very well behaved. We are able to eat a meal and they are not pushy or jumpy while we do, nor do they beg for food. We took them out in the yard and showed them the dog door when we arrived home, and they took right to it. They have been taking care of their business outdoors from the start, we ha ven’t had a single accident in the house. They must have been house trained at some point. I spent yesterday morning shoring up the fence around the yard to take care of a couple spots where the runoff had left gaps below the bottom wire (they are very active and love to explore), they hadn’t tried to get out, but figured it would be better to eliminate that possibility before it was an issue. They have been enjoying bringing sticks and rocks in to share with Wendy today, in spite of her having gone to petsmart for food and toys yesterday, they like the sticks and rocks better, although I have seen them with the toys on and off today. The real chore has been kid proofing the house again, they do like to explore and they are still young enough to want to chew on things, we’re getting closer, but soon as we think we have it, they find something else to get into. They also still need some work with the leashes, they can manage to tangle them together within seconds of being hooked up to them but we’ll get there. They are a wonderful, loving pair of little dogs and they are getting comfortable and fitting right into their new home. We are grateful to have found them, and they have certainly brightened up our home with their presence. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt the girls.
Chloe Sweets Hi- We are having a wonderful time with her! She is super smart (crate trained in less than a day) and sweet. She is playful and loves her walks —-we just wish it weren’t so hot as it would be fun to be outside with her more. She is very well behaved and cuddly, as well as friendly to all people and animals that she meets. She does not bark and has not had any accidents. She does beg a bit so we are working on that.
