Django Hello Elizabeth, hello Team, Django is happy in his new home and he is a well behaved boy. He listen very well (sometimes he is a little stubborn ð ) He is a ball addict lol. I have 1 question about his scratching. Does he has any known allergies? He scratches himself a lot. It is not fleas (he wears a collar and I would know he sleeps in bed)? Other then that he seems healthy and very energetic. Enclose some pictures and a little movie. Don’t worry about Django, he found his forever home. Thank you for getting him out of Colorado!!!
Daisy She is doing fine. Introducing her to the grass. She likes it now was scare at first will send pictures later.
Dolce Gobi is doing well. He is comical and very affectionate. He lives for his walks twice a day, is a good eater and his indoor behavior has been nearly perfect. When we were told he probably has Brussels Griffon in him, that person hit the nail on the head. He sticks to Tom like Velcro - and to me when Tom is not home. He is obeys and loves us both but Tom is his boo. The term âself importantâ in the Brussels Griffon description fits Gobi to a tee. It makes him stubborn for training, but he always comes around. We think his last family probably lived in an apartment because our biggest training challenge has been getting him to eliminate in the back yard. Poor baby thinks he needs to hold it til time to walk! He is so good, too good, lol! He cannot fathom messing the back yard. We have some pro help and heâs coming around. Itâs so cool when you see the little light bulb over his head when he figures something out. Vet told us on his initial visit that he is 2lbs underweight. We have managed to add 4 ounces in 3 weeks. The weight will need to go on slow and healthy. What a wonderful and amazing adventure. He has brought us so much joy.
Doc Holliday Thanks for checking in. Doc's transition has been almost seamless, other than leaving his adoption records at Petsmart on that first day. We are truly smitten with him and so far the only thing we are working on is his barking, especially when we have visitors - he seems to be very possessive of us already. My older dog, Domino just ignores him and both dogs are pretty respectful of one another and I'm surprised that neither dog seems to have terr itory issues not even with feeding time. Hardest part was trying to get Doc to eat in the beginning while Domino was transitioning from homemade food to kibble, and that is understandable right? I mean who wouldn't rather have chicken roast for dinner over kibble. Over all things are going well and he is an awesome addition to our family. Thank you for helping us find a friend who would fit right in. -Carrie West
Daisy Hi Elizabeth, I am very happy to let you know that Daisy and my CoCo are doing just fine together. They get their treats with CoCo going first and showing Daisy how to shake, which she picked up right away. They slept on my bed last night with sometimes touching back to back, and no problems. CoCo's spirits have already been lifted with Daisy in the house. Her best friend for 8 years died on April 4th, (Bonita, who was 16 years plus) and I lost my husband of almost 24 years on April 15th, so Daisy has been good for both of us. I have registered her chip, started the 30-day insurance, in the process of getting her license done online tonight and have a Vet appointment for her on Thursday. I am really concerned about her leg--your paperwork stated that the person surrendering her said that she favored her right front leg at times. I have checked her leg, and it is not straight, she holds her paw up and she seems to have problems with it at times. I will have the Vet check it out completely, and give you an update as soon as I find out. I am just hoping that she was not hit or abused before being surrendered. Frankly, I am already in love with her, and I just can't imagine anyone giving her up unless it was due--to illness or death. This little dog is so precious, and she has found her forever home with me and CoCo (who was running the streets when my husband and I found her). Daisy now has someone who will love her and take care of her for as long as God grants us the time together. I have attached some pictures of my CoCo and Bonita so you can see what friends they were--this is the type of relationship I feel CoCo and Daisy will have in time. The first picture is of my beloved Bonita, the second is of my precious CoCo and the third shows the two of them together. They both had their own beds but often stayed together in the same bed. My sincere thanks to you and your organization for the wonderful work you do for all of the lost little dogs out there--you are to be greatly commended. Take care, Vicky Lipton, CoCo and Daisy Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
