Maxaroni Hi thanks for reaching out, we are more than Happy to share Maxaroni’s family life with you. He currently hs 3 big doggy sisters who instantly took to him and love and protect him. He also has 6 loving human siblings and a mom and dad. We all love him so much!!! He enjoys playing on the swing, racing his siblings down the slide, swimming in the pool and riding the mechanical unicorn around the house. He has 24/7 access to the outdoor dog play area through the kitchen doggy door and likes to lay on both the indoor and outdoor beds with his big sisters.
Missy Elliot We received 7 dogs from one household where the owner passed away. Fluffy in particular had the hardest time dealing with life and was completely shut down when they came to us. This wonderful family adopted a pair out of the group and this is their adoption update.
Fluffy Tails & Missy Elliot's Adoption follow up:
Hello there!
We wanted to thank you for such a beautiful experience we had at Arizona Small Dog Rescue today. From the start, it was obvious that your team not only
cares about the loved ones in your shelter, but also about the customers that you serve.
Today we were blessed to have Missy & Fluffy join our family. With Fluffy's shy temperament we were unsure of how he would react to his new home. With his mom (Missy) by his side, we do believe it encouraged Fluffy to come out of his shell. We were told that perhaps Fluffy might stay in his kennel for a few days since he is very apprehensive; however, after a few hours this evening he ventured out to explore his new home.
We deeply thank you for loving them and watching over them until God brought us together. We hope you enjoy the picture of their first night with us, as well as the picture taken at your place (please see below).
Sincerely,
Shannon, Zoë and Kyleigh
Maria Maria and Lil Bit adoption update: Our adopted girls, Maria and Lil Bit are a doing great and bring lots of smiles to our house! Thank you AZSDR!
Medina Hello Destiny, Things are going very well with Claire Bear and Medina. They love the back yard, and they have been wonderfully social, and very well behaved. We are able to eat a meal and they are not pushy or jumpy while we do, nor do they beg for food. We took them out in the yard and showed them the dog door when we arrived home, and they took right to it. They have been taking care of their business outdoors from the start, we ha ven’t had a single accident in the house. They must have been house trained at some point. I spent yesterday morning shoring up the fence around the yard to take care of a couple spots where the runoff had left gaps below the bottom wire (they are very active and love to explore), they hadn’t tried to get out, but figured it would be better to eliminate that possibility before it was an issue. They have been enjoying bringing sticks and rocks in to share with Wendy today, in spite of her having gone to petsmart for food and toys yesterday, they like the sticks and rocks better, although I have seen them with the toys on and off today. The real chore has been kid proofing the house again, they do like to explore and they are still young enough to want to chew on things, we’re getting closer, but soon as we think we have it, they find something else to get into. They also still need some work with the leashes, they can manage to tangle them together within seconds of being hooked up to them but we’ll get there. They are a wonderful, loving pair of little dogs and they are getting comfortable and fitting right into their new home. We are grateful to have found them, and they have certainly brightened up our home with their presence. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt the girls.
Max Dash I just wanted to share that Max has fit in wonderfully with our family. He is a joy and we are very happy. Thank you. â¤ï¸
