Pebbles
Pebbles

I recently adopted a little 1 year old ball of energy rat terrier named Pebbles, and wanted to thank AZ small dog rescue for helping me find a great friend!!

She is well adjusted to her new home and is simply perfect.  I have since changed her name to Loki:) and she is the happiest dog on the planet!! Thanks for making the adoption process during these trying times smooth and painless.
I’ll attach a few photos of the little monkey as she seems to love the camera and all humans and dog she comes across. Thanks again-

Pinto
Pinto

Pinto, now Hazel, is my 2nd rescue from AZSDR and my first foster fail! First I want to say how amazing and helpful all the staff has been with both dogs. Such a great organization!

The dogs are both very high energy, all they want to do is play play play, and Hazel is learning quickly from Fiver (originally Zeus). They do everything together. Hazel has already learned si t, down, leave it, watch me, come, walking on a leash (backyard only) and we are working on roll over and shake.

He does okay for the most part in his kennel, sleeps in his kennel through the night, and we are working hard on potty training... still have a ways to go on that though. Despite his many potty accidents, he is incredibly easy to train otherwise, and has the most adorable personality, so that makes up for it.

He has added such a lovely dynamic to my home and really makes it feel like a family. Once he’s potty trained and fully vaccinated hopefully I’ll be fostering again... but no fails this time!

Poppy Seed

Poppy is doing sooooo good in our home. He is so well behaved. So far we've learned that poppy LOVES walks and car rides. He also enjoys sleeping and lounging around. He also just had his vet check because I was worried about possibility of allergies but it was a small case of kennel cough and the vet started a round of antibiotics. I can tell the first few days poppy felt out of his element so it took awhile for him to start bonding. As soon as he claimed me as his new human the relationship began right away! Its odd before his tail would hang low and now his tail curls. Its soo cute I took it as a sign of happiness and comfortablity. He also follows me through out the house even into the restroom lol. He also loves bedtime. He gets sooo excited to go to lay in the bed it will be 5pm and he'll wait by the bedroom door for me and just look at me like okay are we going to bed or not? Lol absolutely love this little guy. I do think that he could benefit from having a friend. I can sense that he may be on the lonely side when we leave for a quick run to the store. So I'll be in the look out for a possible friend for him!
