Ringo Hello, Ringo is truly the perfect addition to the family, like we expected. Him and our other dog are slowly becoming good friends. He is still very nervous around strangers but has quickly adjusted to us and other family members once proven he is completely safe with them. He enjoys going to the dog park at our apartment and loves to challenge Sophie, our other pet, to races.Thank you again for allowing us to adopt Ringo.
Rudy He is doing great. I took him to my regular vet and he is need of a dental! Do you guys have a low cost dental vet you recommend? I was quoted 1800.00!!! Yikes. We are enjoying him so much and his little personality has really come out!! Total love bug!
Rupert Hi Elizabeth, We are in love with our newest family member! He is still a bit anxious, which we were expecting given his medical history, but he is calming down more and more each day. We have a dog named Sherlock, whom we adopted from AZSDR 2.5 years ago and we have renamed the new guy Watson. Sherlock and his sidekick Watson have become fast friends.
Thank you for all of the good work you do!
Nicole and family

So far we have no questions, just doing our best to start that training process for him! He is a big hit with the family and is doing great with our other pup. Here is a picture to for you guys! Thank you so much for such a wonderful process in adopting a new family member! We'll be writing a review shortly. :) Best, Marlena, Ricky, Zorro, and Charlie
Roy Roy Hello Arizona Small Dog Rescue! I just wanted to send an update on Roy Roy as a way to celebrate the 6-month anniversary of his adoption (which was yesterday, 6/2)! First thing, I decided to change his name to Corduroy, and now he has a list of names he responds to: cord, cordy, roy, roy-boy, just to name a few. We have gone on so many adventures in the past 6 months! We went to go explore what snow was in Flagstaff, we went down to Tucson to ride bikes (he sits perfectly in a basket and enjoys the breeze!) and we have gone to several dog parks, but he mostly just sits next to me :) since his adoption I have moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend, and although Corduroy was not fond of the scary man at first, he has come a LONG way! While before he would not come within 5 feet of Nate, now he lets Nate take him on walks, pick him up, and he even goes to Nate for pets and rubs. It has helped with his socialization skills around other men! Corduroy's favorite hobbies are following me around/being next to me at all times, playing fetch with his favorite squeaky toy, and being rubbed continuously and without pause or he will get upset :D Corduroy is the most amazing companion, he is so loyal and loves his owners unconditionally. He is my best friend and I cannot imagine a more perfect dog for me, so thank you so much for not giving up on him when he had trouble getting adopted because otherwise I would have never found him. Attached are some pictures from the past 6 months, which have been such a blast! Thank you AZSDR! Helayne Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
