Sir Fluff Hi Elizabeth,
My sons & I adopted Sir Fluff from AZSDR on 08/29/19. We have since renamed him Knox.
Knox is doing very well in his new home & is showered with love. He is still anxious at times & is weary of males, but definitely a “momma’s boy” & will not leave my side. Knox was 12.4 lbs at adoption, however, he is currently 15 lbs! He did come home with kennel cough & a testicular hematoma caused by his neutering surgery in 08/27/19. Knox had a vet visit yesterday & was prescribed antibiotics for the kennel cough which seems to have really helped so far; the testicular hematoma will take another week or so to diminish.
Since bringing Knox home, he has only had one accident in the house. He rarely barks & has never chewed on or gotten into something he shouldn’t. He’s an absolute joy & we are loving him to pieces!!
I would like to thank AZSDR for approving our adoption & allowing us to provide Knox with a safe, loving environment. I would especially like to thank Dani & Jackie for staying late on the day we adopted Knox & ensuring everything was in order. They were so friendly & helpful!
I will highly recommend AZSDR to anyone & I commend you for taking in these beautiful creatures to see that they are placed in the best homes possible. Thank you so much!!
Snow
Thanks again for having these two beautiful sisters in your shelter for us to rescue. We are all so happy
Snow and Angel are doing great!
. They have adjusted wonderfully and are running the house! They have brought us so much joy and love. We took them to the vet, beauty shop and have them registered. Thank you soooo much for these wonderful children

Sissy Hello! I just wanted to give a quick update on Sissy, so sorry it’s been so long. She is a dream and we love her so much. Her favorite thing to do it snuggle and play and sleep, repeat :) Thank you!
Swiffer
Hi Elizabeth,
As you can see by the photos below, my little guy “Spencer” (originally Swiffer) is adjusting well to his new home. He is such a good boy & well loved. He was diagnosed with Kennel Cough but improving daily with medication & rest & getting back to his old goofy self. The Vet & I are hoping & praying all other lab work leads to great baseline results. He was a big hit on his first visit but that comes as no surprise. He loves everyone & has kisses for everyone.
I will definitely keep you updated as more time passes. Maybe once this heat passes, I can send some outdoor pictures. I just can’t express how lucky I was to adopt him when he was in such demand. Everyone there was so patient & kind & forgiving of my being in a constant state of joyous tears during the adoption process. You are all wonderful for giving God's little creatures a voice.
Thank you. Have a wonderful week.
Linda & Spencer
P.S. I promise I’ll give a great review in the very near future :-)
Spotty Spotty is adjusting really well in our household. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He loves it when we go on walks with him around sunset. We noticed though that he gets nervous riding in the car with us. I think he’s worried that we are going to drop him off and leave him somewhere. We were wondering if you had advice on what we could do to help him not be so nervous in the car.
We would love to see our adoption photo.
