Hello, 

I adopted a dog name Scout on Sunday.   I was aware that he was an older dog but at only 7 yrs old, he seems to have extremely low energy. He has been going on two short walks per day and seems to enjoy it but he goes back to sleep immediately after the walk.   On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, he seemed to eat fine but this evening I had to prod him to eat.   Did the previous owners say he was a finicky eater or did they feed him a certain brand of food?   Maybe the change in food is making him sick.    I scheduled an appointment with my vet on Friday

Wrigley (Riggs) is doing GREAT!! He's the sweetest little man who loves to cuddle. He also loves pulling out all of his sister's toys each morning to play with. He's got a bit of separation anxiety that we are working on everyday. I have been leaving for short periods of time (5-10 minutes) each day, and not making too big of a deal when I come back home. He is also getting lots of exercise so when I leave he falls asleep right away in his crate. He doesn't like men too much, but is warming up to some of the regulars who come around the house. We are so grateful to have this sweet man in our life.

Everything has been going really well so far.  Sam has warmed up to me much faster than I thought he would!  Loving that I’ve been working from home and is my little couch buddy all day snoozing.  I’ve been giving him his doxy medication and after the first night where he had some bad wheezing/coughing it’s been getting much better already.  Working with him on his possessiveness over food and his bed.  He’s snapped a few times but immediately comes and cuddles up to me afterwards.  Just takes some patience.  I’m so happy with him and I think he’s loving his new home so far!

Sara, we are calling her Stella. She is doing great, our other dog is getting use to having a puppy around but he is coming around.
