Tootsie Tootsie is doing fine. She's adjusting to my routine, eating, and enjoying her walks five times a day

We are so in love with Lincoln (previously Tizer). He has completed our family. The kids and his sister Lily are on cloud 9. Thank you for choosing us.
Thunder Dome Hi! He is doing great, he even goes on walks now, he needs a little bit of training on the barking at every noise when he is on the leash but yesterday was a big day because he let me put the leash on him and seemed eager to go outside. Today it happened again and we did a 30 min walk. He was definitely ready to go back inside after that but he walks well on a loose leash besides the barking.
I took him to the vet on Friday to get his shots and his wellness plan, we think he has allergies because he was sneezing and itching a lot and his eyes were irritated and red so he got some meds, eye drops and allergy meds. It might also be food allergies but we are checking on that. He also had some discomfort in his joints when they check them, so he will be starting on cosequine with chandler, who also has joint issues. I won't run with him or taking hiking until we are sure that his discomfort is gone and he is healthy for those activities. He was a bit dehydrated but i think that now that he likes to hang out with us and feels comfortable in the house, he will drink more water, but i am checking on that.
He is super cuddly now and I love that chandler and thunderdome are so respectful of each other and sometimes even cuddle with each other. He doesn't even hide in his crate anymore, instead he likes to hang out where we are.
A new foster dog was brought yesterday, he is a small terrier mix who was on the street for months and is very scared of people but the dogs help a lot, Chandler is very respectful and Thunderdome is starting to listen well. Both Chandler and Thunderdome are helping Toby to feel safe again, and Toby looks for dog company instead of humans, so it is a good situation even though Toby needs every training possible and to learn how to trust humans.
Thunderdome definitely needs a lot of training to get to the place i normally like my dogs to be, specially with my life style with dogs and people but i am very happy with him, he is coming a long way, he trusts me and follows Chandler lead during training, he is somewhat independent and doesn't need to be cuddle all the time and he is learning to be respectful of boundaries, i am super confident that now that he trust us and is settling in the house, he will show his personality more. I think that with the right training, he might be a good therapy dog too because he likes people, he is very sweet and naturally mellow (when he is not afraid of something), he needs leash training but he already walks on a loose leash and he is eager to please. Once he settles more, I will start taking him to daycare with chandler so he gets more dog socialization.
I think thunderdome was definitely the right choice for our little family and this family was the right choice for him :)

Tinkerbell Thank you for reaching out! I am so beyond grateful and happy that I found out about AZ Small Dog Rescue and Tinkerbell! She has been the most wonderful addition to my life and I have enjoyed all of her cuddles, and snuggles, and even her funny and snippy moments! It’s all part of the process. She is the sweetest cuddles bug, is still learning a few things here and there, but has been so much fun to spend my days with! She has been somewhat cooperative, still learning to be okay with the harness and leash, eats like it’s her last meal every time, and goes to the bathroom outside, while on walks, or one pee-pads, which is fantastic. She’s still getting used to other people, but quickly warms up when they are patient and calm with her.
I want to thank Tammyra, Tinkerbell’s foster mom for being SO incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of my interest in Tinkerbell. What started as a little dream, to have a companion for myself, turned into a reality that Tammyra helped make possible. She answered my millions of questions and helped in so many ways. She made me feel at ease in moments of being overwhelmed, and because of her generosity and kindness, I know I have a friend to be there for me throughout the process, a support for when I may have questions, and so much more.
I want to also thank AZ Small Dog Rescue, too, for all that you do. And how helpful you guys were throughout the swift process. I’m grateful that Tinkerbell’s files were present and available, and that I did not have to wonder about anything!
So thank you all and I am so happy with my life right now, because of organizations like you that can help people, like me, find wonderful companions and family members, like Tinkerbell.
Toby Hello!
I am so happy with my new fur baby! I ended up renaming Toby to Archie (which he already responds too, he is so smart!). I do have a few questions and concerns though.
1. Did he eat okay while at the shelter? He hasn’t really eaten anything. I have to hand feed him to eat food. He doesn’t like to eat from the bowl. And even then he doesn’t eat much, doesn’t even really eat treats either.
2. He definitely has kennel cough. Thank you for the antibiotics. Any tips on how to give it to him without him throwing it up? He has had one episode of vomiting after taking the medicine. How long does it take for them to recover? What if he keeps on throwing up the meds, will he still recover? He also has a runny nose and seems lethargic too. I am worried.
3. Does he ever use puppy pads? Or does he only go to the bathroom outside?
Aside from that, he is such a snuggle bug!! He is great at walking on a leash! Before he got sick I even took him on a mini hike and he was able to do the whole thing on his own!! I have attached some pictures!
