Hi Elizabeth,

 "Waffles" fka Woofles is doing soo well with training, playing and really everything. She is the sweetest most cuddly girl, and has put on some healthy weight. She's growing fast. Her and Paco play all day everyday, it's pretty much nonstop lol. 

 Training:She learned to sit on day one. Now she's doing it automatically while waiting for the elevator, and while riding it. When the doors open she doesn't budge until Nicole or myself move first. 

 ON LEASH: She's getting better and better on the leash, she will stay at our sides if we ask and will not pull. Nicole has her jogging as well. 

OFF LEASH: We go to a large park every night and she has been great with the freedom. She knows her name and will return to us from a good distance. It really helps having Paco there because she likes to stay near him anyway.

HOUSE TRAINING: We've had no accidents for about 72 hours. She has found a favorite spot on our morning walks. It took her some time but she knows to pee on every walk now, instead of holding it until the last second. We did not want a crate, so she did throw a couple temper tantrums and ate about 6 books lol but she understands the meaning of "NO",  so she is learning what's off limits and doing very well at it. She also has a favorite show chew toy now which helps.

PLAY TIME: Walffles and Paco play all day long and only take breaks for naps and food. She goes at it full speed and isn't afraid of his size; however, he is very gentle with her. She loves to think she's sneaky and pounce on Paco when she thinks he isn't looking. Also she loves a good superman dive off the ottoman onto him.  He let's her win all the time and couldn't be a better brother. 

Nicole and myself have said it several times, "we could not imagine any other dog being such a good fit". Waffles will be making her 1st trip to the creek Monday or Tuesday. Also, we would love to bring her by for a visit and her shot(s) this week.

Thank you for checking in. We cannot imagine a more perfect dog than Wags!  We feel blessed to have found him and that he has settled some seamlessly into our home. He and my husband are already great napping buddies:

 We are doing well. We have the diarrhea cough in check. She is responding to her quiet surroundings. The submissive wetting continues but I've been studying up on different strategies to improve that & we are making small progress. She has a good appetite & loves to go for her walks.

Wayne is doing great.  He is asleep on my lap right now, loves to eat & runs every day.  His cough is cleared & he saw a vet yesterday for shots.  He makes us laugh!  A sweet happy puppy to love!!
