Millie

So far we are doing great! Millie is getting comfortable and no accidents and basically no barking. We have our first vet appt tomorrow so hoping that goes well.

She is diamond in a rough from some dogs I've seen. I think I got very lucky with her.

Daisy Love
Daisy Love

We adopted Daisy Love and while I hoped (and loved) that it was a Rock of Love reference, we changed her name to Bella. She is doing great and while we would not find a vet that could get her in within 10 days, we are scheduled for her first visit next week.

She has a concerning spot on her back leg that we hope turns out to be nothing but a scab but did you notice anything before she left?

Thanks for the addition to our family. She is very well loved!

Isabella

Hi! Everything is going great! Bella has adjusted well with her brother chewie, they get along very well. She loves the backyard so that she can sun bathe. Thank you for checking in.

Thor
Thor

Hi, I’m Lisa, and wanted to send you an email about Thor.  What can I tell you about him? Wow, mainly that he was sent from heaven for me.  He is 95% perfect for our family.  He is mainly my dog, as he has attached to me.  I take him hiking 3x a week with me, and he is a born hiker.  We go rite at 5am to beat the heat. He goes with me wherever I go for the most part as long as that place allows dogs, otherwise my husband is working from home a lot. He is just such a lovable dog, who has wonderful manners, does not bark uncontrollably like a lot of small dogs do.When we’re not out excercising early in the morning, we loves to be by my side on the couch snoozing.  We’ve taken him up to Prescott to visit all the other dogs there. He is so great in the car, my brother didin’t realize he was with us after 2 hours till we got out.  He loves his tennis ball still and his little toy I brought home from your facility.  He now has a bow tie, a front back pack to ride on my bicycle, a cooling t-shirt, and his little collar tag that says, Tiny but mighty. He still occasionally growls at my other dog Storm, but it’s fewer and far between from when he first got here.  My heart is very happy having him in our family, and he is extremely well cared for here.

Ashlyn
Ashlyn

We adopted Ashlynn, but have since changed her name to Penny. She is thriving in our home and is becoming best friends with our other pup Finley! (Who we also rescued from AZSDR in 2018!) Thank you for caring for these sweet pups! Here are some pics of Penny!
