Daisy
Daisy

Hi Elizabeth,

I am very happy to let you know that Daisy and my CoCo are doing just fine together.  They get their treats with CoCo going first and showing Daisy how to shake, which she picked up right away.  They slept on my bed last night with sometimes touching back to back, and no problems.

CoCo's spirits have already been lifted with Daisy in the house.  Her best friend for 8 years died on April 4th, (Bonita, who was 16 years plus) and I lost my husband of almost 24 years on April 15th, so Daisy has been good for both of us.

I have registered her chip, started the 30-day insurance, in the process of getting her license done online tonight and have a Vet appointment for her on Thursday.  I am really concerned about her leg--your paperwork stated that the person surrendering her said that she favored her right front leg at times.  I have checked her leg, and it is not straight, she holds her paw up and she seems to have problems with it at times.

I will have the Vet check it out completely, and give you an update as soon as I find out.  I am just hoping that she was not hit or abused before being surrendered.  Frankly, I am already in love with her, and I just can't imagine anyone giving her up unless it was due--to illness or death.  This little dog is so precious, and she has found her forever home with me and CoCo (who was running the streets when my husband and I found her).  Daisy now has someone who will love her and take care of her for as long as God grants us the time together.

I have attached some pictures of my CoCo and Bonita so you can see what friends they were--this is the type of relationship I feel CoCo and Daisy will have in time.  The first picture is of my beloved Bonita, the second is of my precious CoCo and the third shows the two of them together.  They both had their own beds but often stayed together in the same bed.

My sincere thanks to you and your organization for the wonderful work you do for all of the lost little dogs out there--you are to be greatly commended.

Take care,

Vicky Lipton, CoCo and Daisy
