Sorry for the delay. All is well here now. We are calling our new cuddle bug Max and he is a great little guy. First couple of days took some time for him to adapt to changes. He did not like being in kennel even for a few hours. We have modified that now and he is left in a gated kitchen area during the day and he loves it. He also likes to sleep in his little dog bed at night. He a fussy eater no wonder he's so skinny.  Happy and healthy and there is no mistaking because he wiggles all the time.

 

Only real remaining issue is his obsession with our cats. He has gotten somewhat better and sometimes doesn't notice them. Fortunately the cats are very non aggressive and just want to run away and hide. Anything you could suggest would be appreciated on this one.
