Merida is an adorable, little, 9.5 week old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who was born in a loving foster home and raised by her amazing Dachshund mix mom, who was saved from the County shelter after being found stray and very pregnant. She currently weighs in at 4.8lbs. Merida, her mom, and her sisters are now available for adoption. Merida has the cutest little run. One of the foster kids in the house said she looks like Slinky from Toy Story, since her front end and back end don’t always look like they are fully communicating. Both ends scream happiness though, as she plays in the yard with other dogs her size. She has figured out the doggy door and does most of her business outside. Of course, she’s still incredibly young, so more potty training will be required. She’s a typical, happy playful little puppy who is looking for a family who will love her and spoil her forever. She will still need routine training and socialization with people to grow up to be a confident, trained, and happy girl. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $350.
