Lupita is the strongest 3 year old Chihuahua mix that you will ever meet. Her little 7 pound body has been through so much and she is still as sweet and can be and is full of love to give. Lupita first came into the rescue as a pregnant momma, the dad was a 40 pound shepherd. She almost made it to her scheduled date for c-section but as most pregnancies hers didn't go to plan, her puppies were determined to come out sooner than expected. Lupita had an emergency c-section and raised four puppies that were bigger than her at only 8 weeks! She not only raised her own puppies but she also took on two orphaned puppies that were 3 days old at the beginning of December. Lupita has been an amazing mom, all 6 of her puppies have found their homes and now it is her turn to find the perfect forever home. This little girl is the complete package! She is a bit shy but with a little patience and time she will become your shadow. Lupita does well around men, women, and has lived with children as young as 6 months old. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and occasionally will get a little pep in her step to play. Lupita makes the perfect passenger and would love to go on new adventures with her forever family. She is very well behaved and is house broken! Lupita would prefer a home where her people are home more often than not, she loves to hang out on your lap or at your feet while you're on the computer. She will even hangout behind you in the chair if there is room. Lupita deserves the world, but while we may not be able to give it to her, we can ensure she gets the best home possible! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
