Chief is a sweet 10 month old Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He weighs 9.2 pounds and seems to be done growing. Chief came into AZSDR with 21 other dogs, they were living in a hoarding home where 28 dogs lived in only a 1000 sq foot apartment. The dogs were well cared for but there wasn't much opportunity for them to build trust with their humans. Chief will need a home willing to work with him on his socialization and let him go at his own pace. He feels most comfortable around other dogs and must have a canine companion in his new home. Chief would do best with another active dog that loves humans so Chief can learn to trust his people. He may need training as he adjusts in his home. Please bring everyone in the home to meet with Chief, including any dogs living in the home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $350 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm.
