Arcious is a timid 2 year old Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She weighs 14 pounds and is full grown. Arcious came into AZSDR with 21 other dogs, they were living in a hoarding home where 28 dogs lived in only a 1000 sq foot apartment. The dogs were well cared for but there wasn't much opportunity for them to build trust with their humans. Arcious is very shy towards new people and will need a patient home willing to help her learn how to trust. She did bond very closely with a female staff member and would do best in a female dominant home. Arcious has the potential to be a very loving dog but it will take a while before she will learn to trust a new person. She absolutely loves other dogs and would love a home with another playful canine companion since she has never lived without another dog. Arcious will need to meet any dogs in the home before adoption. Once she is comfortable with her person she will seek out affection whenever possible! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet her, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm.
