Sophia came to Arizona Small Dog Rescue as a pregnant stray. We aren’t sure of her breed (possible Dachshund/ Spaniel mix), but she’s 100% gorgeous and 100% loveable. She has beautiful, shiny black fur, soulful brown eyes, long floppy ears (to match her extra long body), and an adorable spotted tongue. She came to the rescue pregnant and birthed six beautiful babies in her loving, foster home. She’s been an amazing mom, and now it’s her turn to be babied. She loves to hang out on people’s laps and loves any attention you’d like to send her way. She’s been great with the two smaller dogs in her foster home (6 and 12 pounds) and amazing with all her babies. Sophia currently weighs in at 19 pounds. Not only is she good with a doggy door, but she’s been doing an amazing job teaching her babies to use it too! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
