Lanky is a 2 year old male dachshund/terrier mix who is looking for a loving family. Lanky lives up to his name and is all legs! He weighs in at 16 pounds full grown. Lanky came to us with his brothers when they could not move with their family, so he would love to have a home with a canine companion to keep him company. He loves dogs of ALL sizes!  Lanky loves people, but has never lived with children, so bring the kids to meet him before adoption. Lanky may need some help with house training so he can grow up into a perfect gentleman. Lanky is a good boy who knows how to sit, stay, lay, come and even dance! He is also very motivated by treats so he has lots more to learn as he grows! Lanky will need a secure yard and to be watched carefully in his new home as he can be a bit of an escape artist. Lanky loves toys and attention and will make a perfect playmate to his new family. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
