Gorda, named by her previous owners for how chunky she was. All her chunk was full of love and 2 pups! Gorda's pups have found their forevers, and now that Gorda has slimmed down she is ready to set off on a new adventure with her forever family. She weighs just under 16 pounds. Gorda is a mature 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix. She is a gentle girl who needs a patient home willing to go at her pace. Gorda is a shy girl that can be won over by other dogs, treats and toys! She has done well with other dogs and originally lived in a yard with 8 other dogs. Gordo is great with all adults but has never been around children that we know of. She may do well with gentle dog savvy children that will respect her boundaries. Gorda is house broken, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. She is a quiet girl that will only bark when she is outside to brag about how cool it was to be an AZSDR dog! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $260 and includes a free vet visit. To meet with her, please visit our shelter located at 1102 W Hatcher Rd Phoenix, AZ 85021. We are open Tuesday through Sunday, 11am-6pm. Please understand until further notice there will be 10 clients allowed in the building at once to continue social distancing practices.
