Dobby is handsome high energy and playful 10 month old Parson Russell Terrier mix pup looking for a patient and loving forever family. Dobby is a special pup who has taken on some of his momma's nervousness and her lack of trust. Unlike most bouncy outgoing pups, Dobby may not hop right into the lap of his new family and will take someone who will love him unconditionally while he learns to trust. In the right active family, he has the ability to blossom into a trusting dog. Dobby loves toys and works hard at getting the squeaky part out of them. He plays hard to get but he will mellow out and melt into loving arms. Dobby is like an annoying kid brother to most dogs, always getting in their face like he's asking, "wanna play?" He loves all size dogs and will need a playful and confident canine companion to keep him company and help teach him trust. He's very treat driven, which will help with training and already crate trained. Dobby enjoys walks with a harness and will make a great companion on your evening stroll. Dobby is also extra special in that he is a heart dog and survivor of heart surgery. Dobby was born into our rescue and when his litter went for neuter, doctors noticed an issues with his heart. The rescue made sure he got the balloon valvuloplasty surgery he needed and you'd never know looking at him how tough this guy has been. He weighs in at 17 pounds but may fill out a bit more. He is neutered , up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $200 which includes a complimentary veterinary visit.
