Aurora is a 1 year old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. She is a very loving and sweet girl that weighs 20.6 pounds full grown. Aurora came to AZ Small Dog in need of a foster home. She was very scared and very pregnant. She ended up giving birth to four beautiful babies and later took on five more babies from another mama who fell ill and could not care for her pups. Within 15 minutes, Aurora welcomed the five new puppies, she was letting them nurse and cleaning them. Since then her puppies have all been adopted, and Aurora is now looking for her forever home. She has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots, and is ready and excited to go to a loving home. She loves treats, belly rubs, and lots of attention. She loves all humans, dogs, and cats!  She knows how to use a doggy door but needs encouragement in a new environment. She will need a patient family prepared to work on leash training. She responded best to calm depositions. She is playful with all the dogs we have brought her around. She may bark or growl at first but warms up and is playing with them quickly. Aurora is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $220 includes a free vet visit.
