Stapes (pronounced STAY-PEAS and named after the smallest bone in the human ear) was the smallest puppy born in her litter. She has a tiny underbite and grey whiskers that often give her an old, grumpy appearance, so her foster family often calls her Grumpy Stapes. Stapes is a 2 month old Chihuahua/Terrier mix that currently weighs 6.3 pounds. She is definitely not grumpy at all though, and looks are most definitely deceiving in her case. Stapes is a gentle soul and very sensitive. She is cautious and shy at first but loves with all she’s got when she learns to trust. She also gives amazing cuddles! Stapes plays nicely with her 8 littermates, loves water, and uses the doggy door. She is still a young puppy so will need more training. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee of $450 includes a free vet visit.
