Ivy is a goofy little lady with plenty of spunk hidden behind a timid exterior. She is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix that weighs 11.5 pounds full grown. Ivy came from a hoarding house and is still adjusting to life as a “normal” dog, so she needs a family willing to give her all the time she needs to warm up to them and adjust to their home and lifestyle. She loves other dogs and must have at least one playful canine companion in her forever home. Ivy has made big strides in wanting affection, but desires it on her own time. Her leash walking and potty training skills are still a work in progress, but she is making progress and almost fully house trained with a dog door Ivy will need a yard to run and play in with her furry friends. Ivy loves to play with toys once she feels comfortable and needs plenty of appropriate chew toys or she will find things to chew on that she shouldn’t. She will need sturdy toys and beds, as anything soft and plushy seems to explode into pieces around Ivy. She has never been around kids that we know of, but would need a home with older, dog savvy kids who respect her personal space. Once Ivy is comfortable with you, she loves to give kisses and cuddle up in bed. She is spayed , up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped.
