Tamarin came to us with a group of dogs after being trapped in a park by our friends at HARTT. There was reason to believe that Tamarin and her friends were dumped at the park ☹ But that is ok! Wherever they came from didn’t take very good care of them. They were infested with ticks and also had tick fever! They have since been treated, fully vetted, and in a loving foster home where we have learned more about them. Tamarin AKA Rin, is a a very well-behaved little girl who is house broken, and playful. She can be person possessive, but is easily corrected. She has not been around cats or little kids, only a teenager. She loves everyone in her foster home, but daddy is her favorite. She does very well with other dogs! She was very shy when she first went to her foster home, but warmed up within a week or two. When she gets playful or ready to eat, she does a “Clydesdale prance”. She is kennel trained, and sometimes sits in her kennel with the door open as her quiet place. She enjoys feeding time, eats well, and cuddling with her people. She does require another dog in the home, and securely fenced in yard. For more info or to meet her, fill out an application on our www.azsmalldog.org/adoption-form
