Vervet came to us with a group of dogs after being trapped in a park by our friends at HARTT. There was reason to believe that Vervet and her friends were dumped at the park ☹ But that is ok! Wherever they came from didn’t take very good care of them. They were infested with ticks and also had tick fever! They have since been treated, fully vetted, and in a loving foster home where we have learned more about them. Vervet aka Red or Mama, is a a very well-behaved little girl who is house broken, and loves to sit on a person’s lap for loving’s. She can be person possessive, but is easily corrected. She has not been around cats or little kids, only a teenager. I do love everyone in my foster home, but not a fan of and will challenge the big dogs. She is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly.  She is kennel trained, and sometimes sits in her kennel with the door open as her quiet place. She enjoys feeding time & treats!
