Ebony is a sweet, spunky, and delightful girl who is looking for her forever home. She came to us as a retired breeding dog. She is now fully vetted and it is her turn to be cared for and loved. Ebony is pretty friendly when you first meet her, but can be a little shy. We feel because of her history that she isn't used to a lot of attention or handling so she can be pretty aloof at times. She absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive best in a home with another dog or 2. She barked at her fosters cat the first day, then then ignored her in the continuing days. It is unknown how she is with children. Ebony loves water and loves the play pool! She is kennel trained and about 70% housetrained, and will use pee pads if needed. She has a bit of separation anxiety when her people aren't in site and will bark a lot, so she would do best in a home with out shared walls/fenced yard, and a home where someone is home a lot. She knows the commands stay, down, and come, and may be eager to learn more as she is very food motivated. She's a sweet girl looking to be spoiled. If interested in meeting her, please bring everyone that lives in the home, including dogs, to our location.
