Perkingee is a darling love bug looking for a loving and adoring forever family. Perkingee is one of four Dachshunds who came to us recently after being retired from breeding. Perkingee is young at only three years old and we are thrilled she will spend the rest of her life spayed and living life for herself and not to have babies! Perkingee is sweet as can be and loves affection! She would make a lovely companion for travelers as she is great in the car, on a leash and even happily rides a golf cart. Perkingee is great with other dogs and has never lived alone so she is looking for a home with a canine companion. Sadly, most of her life has been spent breeding so we don't know her family history, so she would love to meet the whole dog savvy family before adoption. Perkingee is sweet and spunky and looking for a yard to trot and sunbathe in. Perkingee may need patience and house training as she adjusts in a home. She has some congenital abnormalities in her beautiful blue eyes which cause no discomfort, but seem to limit her vision a bit, but that doesn't slow her down at all. To meet her, please bring the entire family to our shelter location.
