Cece Cece is doing very well. She’s happy with a tight curl in her tail most of the time. She sits on the sofa in the family room while we watch television and sleeps in bed with my wife. She has a pillow under my desk in my den where she spends time when I’m in there. She has a rug in my wife’s den and spends time in there with her. She’s eating well and I take her for about a ¾ mile walk at 5am after I feed her. She went to our vet this morning (Pa radise Point Animal Hospital) and they found her in good shape other than she needs to lose weight. We will take a urine specimen from her in the next day so that the Vet can establish a baseline reading. Both we and our vet cannot quite figure our why Cece was prescribed Hill’s c/d dog food. Hence the urine sample collection. Cece will get her first bath and haircut from our groomer (Amber @ Second Home Pet Resort) this Friday. Cece is a wonderful dog and we are thrilled with her! Chance He's the most trainable dog I've ever owned. He's so sweet and loving. I'm using a whistle thingy and it's working great. He doesn't even do the crazy barking outside anymore. He's becoming quite independent and sleeping in the crate at night. The true test will be this week when the kids come over. I'm so lucky to have him.
Coco Crisp Hello, She is doing amazing. We have changed Coco Crisp's name to Blix that she is already responding to. We got her set up with her own things. She has fallen into our daily dog routine S if she's always been here. Her new big sister Fiz is doing great and interacting with her more every day. She bonded with both Shaun and I right away and picked her sleep spot on the bed at night already! Thank you so much! I can't believe anyone passed her up not only for adoption but abandoned her in the first place. She has been the perfect addition to our small family. Love Jennifer and Shaun
Charlie Good Morning, Charlie is doing well and fitting in with our family quite nicely. He is a happy go lucky guy and loves to play with all the toys! He and our other rescue Trixie love to play together. He is now fully trained to the doggy door and has not had a single potty accident, which is a great relief! He has almost totally come out of his shell. Our experience with AZSDR was wonderful. The gal (sorry, I don't remember her name) that worked with us was very patient when the first two dogs we met were not a good fit for Trixie and was smart enough to introduce us to Charlie. I appreciate everything you all do on a daily basis to help these abandoned pups and kitties. Kuddos to you all and please keep up the good work! Attached are a few pictures of Charlie and his sister Trixie.
Chatty Max Hello! I adopted Chatty Max yesterday, and he's been adjusting well with the help of his new canine brother Rico. Rico is quite comfortable in our household, so he's been showing him the ropes. I also changed Max's name to Leo! He's been a sweetheart and respecting the boundaries within our household already. I still have much work cut out for him and I, but I'm very excited to go on this journey together! I've attached some pictures. He LOVES the backyard and he zoomed around many times! I did have a follow up question to his health. He has coughed and sneezed a few times, so I wondering if you guys saw him doing that at the rescue as well. I'm fully aware he could have kennel cough and it's up me to help him, which I've contact a vet office to get him checked out. The more information I have the better! Thank you for the opportunity to find such an amazing and loving companion! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
