Freddie Mercury Hello everyone at AZSDR!
We wanted to send you an update on our newest edition to the family. Mr. Freddie Mercury is enjoying his new home! (And we did keep the name!) He loves to cuddle still, and especially loves running around the back yard. He is happy and playful! We are so excited that Chewy is adjusting to him well, but still plays a little hard to get at times. He has wiened off wet food, and enjoys Merrick puppy recipe kibble mixed with shredded chicken. We had our first vet appointment yesterday. Blood work came back great, just has a minor ear infection we are now treating. His incision sight is healing well, and looks great. His first haircut is next week. We are expecting a visit from my parents next weekend, they are so excited to meet their grandpup! Thank you for taking care of Freddie, and all the heroic work you do everyday. You have brought so much joy and love into our lives.
Felipe Things are going well with Felipe, our family has decided to name him Rusty. He loves the kids and every person he meets. He's adjusting well and the kids are having a lot of fun with him. Thanks for following up.
Have a great day, Barb
Frito I cannot say enough good or tell enough wonderful stories about Cowboys life! I am so grateful you had him until he and Marlene would find each other... She says he is perfect and could have never imagined a more precious soul mate, in her wildest dreams he is beyond what she ever thought she could find in a companion!! He is healthy!! Poops 2 inch firm logs, drinks and pees and NO COUGH... He lives with her upstairs in her room, has never snapped or growled or been defensive since here, he LOVES everyone... Friday he helped 4 teenage art students get ready for a formal dance - approving their outfits and making sure the hair accessories were right, and loving their socks so much after they take them off that he has to grab a few and hide them for later!! If he fell asleep on one lap, he would try peak through his eyes only to be shocked and elated to find another person!! He would belly crawl up on the ten then lap and kiss kiss kiss them exclaiming “ oh, I forgot you were here too!” And then fall asleep in that lap, only to repeat the cycle again, and again, and again, girl lap to girl lap..... He lays like a baby belly up with Mar, if Katie has him she puts him in her sports bra for homework on her bed.... He will sleep , of course, under the covers by Marlene’s thigh... but that’s where he ends up, starts his bedtime cuddled against her chest to sleep. ( bedtime is 6 times a day and he sleeps all night too) He doesn’t cry, has a “ condo size for him” carrier bag he happily walks into & gets zipped up to go places... He is so happy and such a joy for us!! Sometimes he allows peaches the standard poodle to sleep on her bed with him, but he growls to make her go back to her place if she tries to get closer... but they do sleep together well. He is sung to, strums the guitar but hasn’t gotten to the piano yet...
Fantastic Max We actually adopted baby! My husband ran down as soon as you opened last Tuesday! He has been a pleasure. Adjusting well. He is learning to warm up to other males. He would bark at my husband and or growl. Now he is enjoying warming up to him. Our four kids adore him. His name is Max now. Since we have a family dog named baby at my parents. He was rescued too. Max is the best. He has a vet check up and enjoys lounging, hugs, walks, playing outside in the yard and being near us all the time! Here is a picture! Thx so much!
