Mountaineer
Mountaineer

Just providing a short follow up to our adoption of Brinkley (formerly known as Mountaineer.

Brinkley is doing well and joined right into the family. He has especially become a great new brother for Barley (our other dog). They play together, walk together and eat together. Barley has even gained weight and seems more full of life since he lost his brother last December.

He had a vet visit and received heart worm prevention (thank you for the free exam!), and has grown into our routine.

Pictures to come!

Millie Moo
Millie Moo

Thank you for asking. The first day Millie stayed glued to me. The second day she used Oliver's heating pad and favorite place to sleep on the bed. Now there are two heating pads on the bed. Most of the time Millie wants to be “glued” to my body.

She likes to put my hand in her mouth…I  think someone used to let her do that. She is learning not to do that…often I  see her open her mouth to put my hand or arm in…think a second and close her mouth.

Millie doesn't appear to understand any words or use what I am doing as clues… she seems to know her name. Didn't anyone ever talk to her? Will she learn?  I don't know.

I think she is still adjusting. From what I understand, she may have become attached to several people only to see them disappear from her life.   She cries when I  leave the house.

That's about all for now. Thanks for asking,

Madre

Hi All—

Molly is doing great.  We can barely remember not having her here with us.  She has bonded beautifully with our other dog, Ruthie, comes when her name is called, and walks beautifully on a leash.  She loves basking in the sun in the backyard and sinking into the folds of her dog bed.  She still has not quite figured out stairs, but she quietly accepts the indignity of being carried when necessary—sticking her neck out as far as it will go and bracing her legs straight.  She has found her voice and has the cutest BORK ever; she sounds something like a chicken when she is excited.  In addition, her coat is coming in where she previously had bald patches and old lacerations.  I’d say we are all very pleased with her new living situation.

We are still waiting to hear about her dental appointment.  Please let us know when it is her turn.

Thank you for finding her for us!

Mason

Thanks for checking in. Mason is doing fabulous in his furever home. He provides so much love and support to the entire home. As you correctly advertised in your listing, he is shy and takes time to warm up to strangers but we are teaching him. He is full of energy and love and is clearly king of the house. Thanks so much for providing all the details at adoption. That made all the difference in making an informed decision.

A review has been posted to Google as well.

Thanks.

Mae

Mae (now Daisy Mae) is WONDERFUL!!! I’m in love with her. She has attached herself to me and is learning to be less and less afraid of other people. Her personality is absolutely adorable. She is surprisingly spunky and initiates play and chasing with me and my daughter’s dog. We are a perfect match.
