Raksha Raksha is doing great. She has fit right in with the rest of the pack. She gets to go to work with Sandi and me every day. She is so fast . If she is not in one of our laps she is a blur running around the house. Thank you and Kris so much for this opportunity. Have a great day
Racer We adopted “Racer” now Pepper” on August 27 at your Meet and Greet at Petco. He is the perfect dog. He loves to go with us in the car, is perfect visiting neighbors and their dogs and is totally house broken. We love him and can’t imagine how anyone could give him up. Happy to share a few of the many pictures we’ve taken of him.
Rascal Things are going really well for Rascal, now known as Bogie. He's settling in well and is taking fundamentals training with Legend Acres dog training. He knows the following commands: touch, down, sit, with me and home. We have found that he's not wild about other dogs, at least at the moment, despite his upbringing. He barks and charges at dogs he doesn't know. He also has severe separation anxiety, even with the crate. So the vet is medicating him for it. But other than that, he's super affectionate with people, especially me. I'm his human and his favorite place is on my lap. He also is starting to play more, both with toys and with us. He was deprived of so much in his puppy days that there's lots to learn and he is making great progress! I'm glad you told us about the 3/3/3 rule as we have definitely seen his personality shift and change since his adoption in August We are so blessed to have him in our family!
Rugby We adopted Rugby the pug/terrier mix. He is the sweetest most loving dog. We also rescued a kitten and he & the kitten play & snuggle together!! He gets along really well with everyone!!
Roxy Roxy is doing really well! It took her a couple of days to figure out the dog door, but now she’s a champ, no potty accidents!
She’s fitting in with our other dogs, and is even trying to get them to play more.
She is a chewer, but I have just been redirecting her to appropriate things to chew.
She is velcro’ed to my 7 year old and sleeps with him every night.
She is still somewhat hesitant around my husband, but I think lots of treats and belly rubs will bring her around.
She does well with “sit”, still working on “come”, “down” and a couple other commands.
We are so glad we were able to adopt her and make her part of our family.
