Morticia is a 3 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mixes who is looking for her forever family. She was recently saved with 2 younger puppies after being dumped in a park and they all 4 stuck together as a family until help could arrive. They were safely, humanely trapped by HARTT and made their way to our rescue. The younger 2 pups are now is a loving foster home together, while Gomez and Tish are off on their own adventures now, together forever. Morticia is shy with human contact at first, but warms up relatively quickly. She may be a bit mysterious at first, but there is nothing spooky about this shy sweetheart, Morticia loves gentle affection from those that she trusts! She is happy to meet other kooky canine companions before adoption. Morticia would do best with dog savvy older children that understand to talk sweetly, gently and let her come around on her terms. It is likely she will need training in her home, including house training, so she will need patience as she learns. Morticia weighs 12 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit.
