Gomez is a 3 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mixes who is looking for his forever family. He was recently saved with 2 younger puppies after being dumped in a park and they all 4 stuck together as a family until help could arrive. They were safely, humanely trapped by HARTT and made their way to our rescue. The younger 2 pups are now is a loving foster home together, while Gomez and Tish are off on their own adventures now, together forever. Gomez is shy with human contact at first, but warms up relatively quickly. He may be a bit mysterious at first, but there is nothing spooky about this shy sweetheart, Gomez loves gentle affection from those that he trusts! He is happy to meet other kooky canine companions before adoption. Gomez would do best with dog savvy older children that understand to talk sweetly, gently and let him come around on his own terms. It is likely he will need training in his home, including house training, so he will need patience as he learns. Gomez weighs 13 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit.
