Apple Pie is a gentle 5 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He weighs 16 pounds and is full grown. Apple is a shy boy that will need humans willing to give him time and space to warm up at his own pace. He has done well with all adults and gentle children. Apple loves being around other dogs and may do best/feel most comfortable with a canine companion in his forever home. Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with Apple prior to adoption. He will need a patient home that understands he may require training as he lived outside in his previous home. While here at AZSDR, Apple Pie received a dental cleaning and had a total of 11 teeth extracted.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
