Edenhofer is a 2 1/2 year old male chihuahua dachshund mix looking for a loving forever home with a canine companion or two. Edenhofer is one of 23 dogs who were recently rescue after being abandoned in a home. Arizona Small Dog Rescue has 11 of these dogs, one of whom is pregnant, and the other 12 were rescued by Lost Our Home rescue. All 11 dogs who came to AZSDR have been named after fallen officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Edenhofer has been lovingly named in honor of fallen Arizona State Trooper Tyler Edenhofer whose end of watch was 7/25/2018 when he was killed in the line of duty. Edenhofer is a wonderful soul who is always beaming with love and happiness. Edenhofer loves everyone he meets, but especially loves to have other dogs to play and snuggle with. Edenhofer has never been alone, so he will definitely need another dog in his new forever home. Edenhofer may warm up more quickly to the women in his home, and would do best with older, mature children who understand when a dog needs space. Edenhofer loves to play and loves attention once he warms up. Edenhofer may need some patience and training as he adjusts in his new home. Once settled in, Edenhofer will make a great canine companion to his new dog friends and a loyal love bug to his lucky new family. Edenhofer weighs in full grown at 20 pounds. His adoption fee is $220. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption includes 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit to a choice of many vet offices. To meet him, come to our location at 1102 W.
