Kaliloa is a 3.5 year old female chihuahua dachshund mix looking for a loving forever home with a canine companion or two. Kaliloa is one of 23 dogs who were recently rescue after being abandoned in a home. Arizona Small Dog Rescue has 11 of these dogs, one of whom is pregnant, and the other 12 were rescued by Lost Our Home rescue. All 11 dogs who came to AZSDR have been named after fallen officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Kaliloa is very sweet, but shy at first, as she is used to much more dog interaction than human. Kaliloa warms up quickly and loves human affection once she trusts her person! Kaliloa has never been an only dog, so she will definitely need to be adopted in a home where she has a canine friend. Kaliloa loves women, so she may warm up more quickly to the women in the home and would do best in a home with older, mature children who are gentle with a shy dog. Kaliloa may need patience and training in her new home as she learns the new rules. Kaliloa weighs 7.5 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $240. Come to our location at 1102 W.
