Trooper is a super super sweet 3 year old Shepherd mix looking for her forever home. She weighs 37.6 pounds and is full grown. Trooper originally came to us from Tuba City and had been found pregnant, skin and bones and covered in ticks. She has since watched all her puppies grow and find their own homes, while she was being treated for tick fever. Now she is tick fever free, has gained weight and is in great shape! This girl is very lovable and adores human touch She is house broken, and rarely barks. Trooper is cautious in new environments until she feels comfortable and trusts the people she is with. She is good on a leash but is still wary when cars pass her. Trooper is happier around smaller dogs compared to larger dogs. She will need a home with a securely fenced backyard and would benefit greatly from having a smaller canine companion to help her build her confidence. Trooper also needs a home with no pet birds, she thinks they are flying popcorn chicken and will try to snack on them!  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
