Gabrielli is a darling 2.5 month old Shepherd/ Terrier mix looking for her forever home where she can get endless amounts of love! She currently weighs 15.2 pounds and still has some growing to do. Her mom, Trooper, weighs just over 30 pounds and is full grown, but we do not know how big dad was. Momma and pups had been found in Tuba City living in a bush behind someones yard. The civilian notified Tuba City Humane Society and volunteers where able to go out and locate the den where momma and puppies were hiding. Momma was very emaciated and unfortunately some of the puppies had already passed away. March 19th a volunteer from the Yavapai Humane Animal Trappers Search and Rescue was able to go up and catch momma and her 6 pups that were alive and brought them to a foster home. Dr. Cindy then transported momma and pups here to AZSDR! Gabrielli was named after fallen hero David Gabrielli end of watch 8/31/1990. Gabrielli is a friendly girl that loves to make new friends of all kinds. Gabrielli is good with men, women, and children that can handle big puppy energy! She loves to play with dogs of all sizes especially if they will play with her. Gabrielli is a pro at the doggy door but will need a home that understands she needs all the puppy training . She needs a securely fenced yard in her new home where she can run off all her energy! No apartments or rentals with breed or weight restrictions. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance.
